| Formal letter Tips for writing formal letter1-Align your address against the right hand margin or in a block with each new line starting directly under the one above.
2-Align left the address of the recipient (person to whom the letter is to be sent) with the date under it.
3-The Start salute the addressee.
4-The Reference and the Reason for Writing Try not to begin your letter using "I".and keep your sentences concise and precise.
5-Start a new paragraph when you want to introduce new information.
6-End with a short sentence that anticipates the response of the addressee.
7-Enclosing Documents
8-Reference to Future Contact.
9-"Yours faithfully," is to be used for formal letters and "Yours sincerely" for informal letters.
10-End by writing your full name, leaving enough space for you to fill in a signature above the typed name.
